Abstracts.

Susan Smith has explored texture, color and transparency for much of her creative life. From her earliest painting in acrylics, she moved on to weaving and surface design with dyes. Eventually she began to paint with watercolor, acrylic and collage. At long last she has returned to her true love of Abstract and Non-Objective Art.

I began the Line Series as a simple exercise in form and line. As time went on I became interested in the movement of the line in and out of the various layers of color.
